Here is the article from the BBC news website announcing the death of the man who, if reports are to be believed (and they so often aren't) was responsible for many of the sectarian suicide bomb attacks that have targeted mostly Shia civilians in Iraq over the past three years.

"Militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed, Iraqi Prime Minister
Nouri Maliki has announced.
"We have eliminated Zarqawi," Mr Maliki said at
a news conference, sparking sustained applause. The US said he was killed in an
air raid near Baquba.
The Jordanian-born leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq was
considered the figurehead of the Sunni insurgency."

So that's got rid of him! Now hopefully the real Iraqi resistance will be able to get on with the important job of throwing out the American and British occupiers. Victory to Iraq!
